Artist development is the unglamorous middle of a music career. It is learning to write a song that tells the truth instead of one that sounds like the radio. It is singing enough that your voice stops performing and starts talking. It is figuring out what you actually have to say, because that is the only thing an audience can not get somewhere else. And it is doing all of that in front of people who will tell you the truth about it.

How it works at Song House

Song House is a creative community in Nashville built on one line: where truthful stories become honest songs. Over 300 artists have developed through this house, and the songs they wrote here have been seen over a billion times. The development itself is simple and weekly.
