Artist Development by Song House
Privacy Policy
Last updated July 15, 2026
Artist Development by Song House is a members community for artists and writers, run by Ward Collective, LLC, doing business as Song House, in Nashville, Tennessee. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it plain because you deserve to know what happens with your information without wading through legal fog.
What we collect
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and the password you set. When you fill out your profile you may add a photo, a short bio, your city, and a phone number. Your city is used to place you on the member map, and you can leave it off.
When you take part in the community we store what you post: your posts, comments, likes, event RSVPs, direct messages, and the Artist DNA answers you choose to share with us.
When you buy a membership, a course, a ticket, a camp, or merch, our payment processor collects your payment details. We never see or store your full card number.
If you use the mobile app and turn on notifications, we store a device token so we can send you the alerts you asked for. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
We also collect basic technical information every website collects, like your device type and general usage, so the rooms load fast and work correctly.
How we use it
To run the community: sign you in, show you the feed, calendar, classroom, members, map, and leaderboard, deliver your messages and notifications, and process what you buy.
To reach you: welcome emails, event reminders, and occasional updates about Song House and Artist Development. You can unsubscribe from the non essential emails any time.
To meet you where you are: your Artist DNA answers help the Song House team understand your stage as an artist so we can develop you well. They are seen by the Song House team only.
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.
Who we share it with
We use a small set of trusted services to run the platform, and they only handle what they need to do their job:
Supabase stores the database and your login. Stripe processes payments. Resend sends our email. Google provides optional sign in and the public calendar. Netlify hosts the site. When the mobile app sends notifications, Apple and Google deliver them to your device. Each of these acts on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
We may share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our members and community. That is the only other case.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, change what you share, and adjust your city and phone at any time. You can turn off app notifications in your device settings. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails from any email we send.
You can ask us to delete your account and your personal information. Write to us at the email below and we will take care of it. An admin can also remove an account on request, which deletes the login, posts, and history tied to it.
Children
Artist Development by Song House is built for artists 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Keeping your information safe
We protect your information with industry standard measures through the services above, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfect, but we treat your trust as something to be earned and kept.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and move the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be shared with members directly.
